Noni and friendsDespite the fact that BennyBix Ochman Labradoodle is 10 times his size, our house is run by Noni, the cat, seen here in the midst of one of his busy days.

Living with this bossy little creature has taught us a lot, and every day this week, we’re sharing our cat care tips in Catster’s Daily Cat Tips newsletter.

Here’s Pawfun’s cat tip for today, learned from years of watching the kitty trip out on catnip. In fact, he likes catnip so much we have to keep it in a glass jar in the back of the dish cabinet, on the highest shelf:

Put some catnip on a sheet of newspaper. Your cat will love rolling around on it, and clean-up is easy. Beats needing to vacuum catnip off the rug. :>)

Kitty Grass Landscaping:

If your cat likes kitty grass, be sure to cut it back daily (with scissors) and water it. If you do, it’ll last as long as a week or more.

And if you buy more than one pot at a time, put the extras in the fridge. They’ll keep for weeks in there if you water them every four or five days and let the water drain out before you put them back in the fridge.

I used to have a cat that looked just like that and was just about as fat. I have always liked fat cats over small cats I don’t like to feel their spines when I pet them it feels weird and unnatural.
