porcupinebabies

Email being passed around the Internet says this is a photo of baby porcupines. But a little bit of research shows they actually are baby hedgehogs.

Pawfun Blog would like to set the record straight. According to National Geographic, this one is a baby porcupine.

Marilyn

Thanks, I thought they looked like hedgehogs too. Still, a great analogy in the email.

Beryl

I thought they were hedgehogs. Google search results show the pics wrongly labeled. Isn’t a cow just a slower, shorter horse, with a different tail &head, full (not cloven) hooves, plus they give milk? Same animal except for minor differences, right? Waiting for a kiwi fruit and prickly pear to be labeled porcupines. lol.

Alan

thanks for setting the record straight … I had shamefully participated in the propagation this error, I will make amends …

Cheryl

Thanks to Tom (friend’s son) for the “education”, but the message was still a good one!! :)

Lisal

Hey Beryl, A cow does have cloven hooves and a horse does not.
