Romeo the Cat’s Latest Tactics for Waking the Staff

Romeo the Cat’s Blog – one of our favorites – has a series of excellent tactics cats can use to wake up the staff – sent to Romeo by other cats, natch. For example:
Wednesday’s staff wake-up tactic: “Today used old standby and knocked the baby monitor off the bedside table. I can’t help it. The dangly cord and monitor lights are irresistible.
Despite popular belief among my staff, knocking the baby monitor off the table has nothing to do with my feelings about who is on the other side of the baby monitor. ”
Romeo the cat’s Tuesday staff wake-up tactic: “Woke up at 5:30 a.m. Moved off my pillow and onto sleeping female staff’s pillow. Laid down next to her head. Okay, kind of on her head. Got pushed off. Came back and laid on her hair, making sure to be as close as her scalp as possible.
Have learned that “OWWWWW, Romeo!” usually means BREAKFAST is coming very soon.”
