If you ask BennyBix Ochman Labradoodle Puppy, there’s nothing like a new squeaky toy. But once the squeaker is out, the toy’s ready for the trash.

Back to nature
Neil Rosemblum, owner of Pet Stop in New York City, has a theory that goes back to nature. When dogs follow their natural instinct to hunt prey in the wild, he says, their prey often would make squeaky noises that stop when the prey dies.

Squeaky toys bring dogs the satisfaction of capturing prey, Rosenblum says.

The squeakiest toy ever
A new squeaky toy, The Invincible Snake, has become a fast favorite with dogs because its six squeakers – contained in special chambers – keep squeaking even when punctured. And, they have a rattle in the tail. Heaven!
